  1. Eduardo I really like your stuff about hive in large and program in large and short scale. The thoughts about the 21st Century Research Parc really have almost all that summarized what we talked about and had in our visions. The sharing attitude is shown very well in Trinkkis folders as well and I think we should use the one with the swarming for the explanation of our disciplinary ways of Thinking coming together.
SHARING is shown there very well because of the public spaces everyone could use in Trinkiis sheet. In my opinion we should keep in mind the evolution of the spaces but also think about a defined program after review II. Right now we have good ideas, but we have to focus more on that later.
The INCLUSIVE-RESPECTFUL-INTERACTIVE part I like also, we should think about common gardening here, because it´s a way to link people, ecosystem and vegetation. So the common gardening could be like a meeting point for different people and there should be an inclusive workspace for someone responsible for it all the time and the others coming and going when they want.
I think the programatic exploration of SPIRITUAL-MIND-BODY is a very good idea too. The Spiritual has to be defined later one I think.
    Nice stuff!

  2. Re, Fratera hive system
Interesting observations at territorial scale. Can this fractal organisation find a parallel at the small scale of your project? for example, can the different buildings or even the different units inside a building promote the same type of relationship and organisation? Good opportunity to look at the interior of your project with a similar approach as the large scale
    Re, Spiritual+Body+Mind
Good first step into defining program of research park. You should go further than just a list of words. Start visualisign these places from all your disciplinary points of view (space, structure, environment, climate, social configuration, management...). Dont forget about the dream research park you guys put together in your conversations at Stanford. And dont forget at the case studies you all brought and presented on the first day at Stanford. Look at them, steal ideas, improve ideas...
    Good luck!!

  3. EVOLUTION! This is one of the most impressive facts in this work for me. Transport system will change dramaticaly, the workfields and types of jobs and companies are changing every day in SV and this development wont slow down, quite the contrary!
But from Building Management, the life cycle of such a building or area is much longer then the trends and business tendencies stay on. So how FLEXIBLE can we create this place to make EVOLUTION happen?
