segments of the tree bark

Rinde-Wachstum

Bark is composed into three parts: the protection bark, made by death cells (outside, brown). secondally the bast (yellow) like pipelines inside who transports the nutrition to the roots and branches. Every year some of them die and chancing to bark.

The ’pipelines’ are built from the third layer, called cambium, a very thin layer between the wood and the ‘pipelines’. This cambium is thin but works a lot: its produces the whole tree-cells. In two directions: inside its produces the wood and outside the pipelines.

->translatable to the Research Park :-))))
